i received this video response to one of my questions today, it was the question about where the great crowd is located.
you might want to see the video but basically it talks about my questions offending "almighty jehovah", also talks about me being disfellowshipped (which i'm not).
i think it's a must-see for the absolute epitome of jw knee-jerk reaction to any sort of questioning of their beliefs... without further ado, here's the video.... .

i have a really great imagination.
you have to have one to get through five hours of meetings per week at a young age.
Learned Spanish, ASL, traveled to other countries, and I am comfortable speaking in public.
Of course, that doesn't make up for 24 lost years.
it's safe to say that in most instances, it appears that the catalyst for the final move away from jw's, the real start of a road toward a jw exit, is something that affected you personally, whether that was you or a loved one/family member.
we hit our personal bs level, can't take it anymore,.
then we start to examine the flaws of jw dogma.. i would suggest that most do not start a jw exit because they examine the dogma on a personal study project and find out that something isn't right.
Excellent points Jeff. I too had doubts about the doctrine but did not really stop to think about it until so many things in my life were wrong and I realized that JWs were the problem, not the solution.
About Reniaa's post: I must say that JWs are very quick to criticize any other religion, but if anybody criticizes them, it is evil, satanic, and vicious.
within recent time, two gilead instructors were sent out of paterson.
these men both were experienced and trained well, in fact they were the main instructors.
they each had double digit years of instructing experience.
Bowen and Liverance left Gilead around Aug/Sept 2007. This is seriously old news.
so here in the jw complex, well, 90% are jw's, a couple of my friends had a bbq yesterday.
i was invited.
they had heard about some of my comments and questions regarding the organization, but i guess they forgot about that.. the friends there were from three different congregations.

ive posted on this before, but i figured i should lay my thoughts out again on the subject.
there are some in the ex-jw community who are saddened because the watchtower organization has turned me and others like me off to god.
the watchtower attacks and debunks other religions on a regular basis, often giving us the sense that if the watchtower is wrong, then there cant be a god.

i was born a jw, never baptized, was labeled bad association when i was 12 due to having all worldy friends and smoking, lol.
i was very confused how being that young i could be labelled as that but i was.

personally i hate bible ping-pong.
i don't think it ever gets anywhere, i don't think it solves anything and i don't think the participants ever make any head room.
however i will say in this case, i have been proven wrong.
